|Works of Gratitude Founder and NF-2 patient, Yvonne Foong, gave a three hour talk at her former ballet school on 12th March 2017. She spoke about her dark experience as a toddler following her father's stroke, and later her teenage trials when her father's youngest sister had terminal cancer. She showed all those who attended how she managed to emerge from it all and became a better person, with the inner strength and mental tools to thrive with Neurofibromatosis Type II.
Thanks to the Federal Academy of Ballet for providing the venue and all volunteers who helped made the event successful. Thanks also to everyone who attended the talk.
